General Statewide Trail Conditions

The VAST Trail System took a turn for the worse over the holiday week; high winds, spring-like temperatures and rain attributed to the latest meltdown. Clubs across the state have reported that there is still a decent trail base, however conditions are not favorable for riding at this time. At this point we need more snow for decent riding. You may be able to ride in the higher elevations, access and services may be limited.
PLEASE use caution and always check with the local club in the area you plan on riding before you leave for your trip. Be safe and take it slow, at this point, the trail conditions are still considered early season.
